This Week’s Agent Spotlight is Beth Rose. Beth is Loss Realty Group’s award winning auctioneer and agent. What do you like best about working in Real Estate?

What I love best about working real estate is the “art of the deal”! It is the most exciting aspect of the business. Everyday is different and I have the opportunity to meet some of the most fascinating people! You have the flexibility to be your own boss and make this business and your brand your own identity!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in the business?

Keep relevance is the biggest challenge. It’s important to nurture the relationships you have with buyers and sellers. We have a tendency to lose time quickly and with that we lose touch with people.

What advice would you give someone that is thinking about venturing into Real Estate?

Create a business plan and set your goals. Always keep this handy so you are able to see it everyday. This will help you stay on track and be able to reach to the next level.

How many years have you been in the business?

I’ve been in the business 27 years and still LOVE it!!

Do you have any advice for First Time Home Buyers?

The best advice I have for first time home buyers is to make a wish list of what your “dream” house would look like. With this, an agent can help you find the exact house that will not only suit your needs but make you fall in love with your home. Also to find a realtor that will hold your hand every step of the way. This is a wonderful experience when purchasing your first home and a great learning experience. Your realtor will assist you with not only finding your home but helping you through inspections, title issues, warranties and the loan process.

When you aren’t working, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

This is a great question…..I was recently asked by a very important mentor what my hobby was and I answered the question, “well it’s real estate”! He told me that is not a hobby and he challenged me to find a hobby or an interest that did not pertain to real estate or auctions. I accepted the challenge and found “Glamping”. For those who don’t know what this is, it is glamourous camping or vintage camping. I found this to be my escape and being able to enjoy the outdoors!

What’s your favorite part of this area and why?

Northwest Ohio is a great place to raise your family. The family and friend connections are so important to me. We have the best zoo and art museum and our parks are wonderful! I enjoy the change of seasons and love our midwestern values.

What do consider the area’s best kept secret?

I think the area’s best kept secret is the Roche de Boeuf bridge in Waterville. Not only is it historical but it is a great place to have professional photos taken.

What areas do you service?

I service all of Ohio, the entire state of Michigan and Southwest Florida.

Anything else you’d like your clients to know about you?

I am so proud to announce that I just won the 2016 International Auctioneer Championship. It is the most prestigious title in my industry. It holds a title of being the world’s best auctioneer and I’m happy to say from Toledo, OH! I also won the 2016 National Auction Marketing Award from USA Today where 890 entries were submitted. I get to represent a great industry for the next year. I would also like clients to know that I do not only just auction real estate but I also have a very lucrative traditional real estate business representing buyers and sellers. My strongest asset has been the amazing marketing team and staff I have that excels in their marketing abilities from digital and content advertising to our catered platform.
