Agent Spotlight

This Weeks Agent Spotlight is Karen Naseef. Karen has been an agent with Loss Realty Group since 2006 and would be happy to assist you with your real estate buying and selling needs. You can get to know Karen a little more in this week’s spotlight Q & A:

Q-What do you like best about working in Real Estate?

A-There are many things I like about the Real Estate business. First, I enjoy meeting many different types of people from all walks of life. I love helping first time home buyers find their first home, which is usually the most difficult purchase.

Q-What advice would you give someone thinking about venturing into real estate?

A-I would tell someone either considering or newly licensed the following:

Get as much training, attend classes, and meet as many people in the business as possible. Go into your office every day, because, much knowledge is obtained by just watching and talking to other agents. Don’t give up, really meaning don’t become frustrated, as we all have been down that path. Have money or additional income to draw on, as Real Estate can be expensive since we have no weekly paycheck.

Over the years, I have seen the Real Estate business become very high tech, so the better an agent is the more successful they will no doubt be.

Q-What advice would you give first time home buyers?

A-First, I would advise them, to save as much money as they can and to pay down or off short term debts, not to be afraid of cosmetic work, and that upgrading can be done over time.Always, as said in the past” try and buy the worst home in the best location or neighborhood”. Unless they have family or friends in trades, do not buy a home that needs major work. Most people now a days are busy after work, and it seems the work is never completed after they close.

Q-What areas do you service?

A-I have an Ohio’s license only. I concentrate on the Toledo and surrounding suburbs.

Q-What do you consider to be the area’s best kept secret?

A-The University of Toledo has a great Theater and Performing Arts Center. There are many plays, and music performances, and now they offer music lessons for everyone.
