MONCLOVA OHIO HOMES FOR SALE
About Monclova
Monclova Township is an unincorporated area situated along the banks of the Maumee River, just south of Toledo in northwest Ohio. The township’s name is believed to come from a Native American term meaning “one of a clan,” as noted by Anna Gunn, a teacher at Monclova School during the early 1900s.
Monclova Township was officially established on March 14, 1853, when Waynesfield Township was divided into two smaller townships: Monclova and Springfield. With appealing housing options, outstanding schools, and a burgeoning economic base, Monclova Township has become a favored choice for many expanding families and businesses.
