Why A Career In Real Estate
It has been said that real estate is the hardest “easy” work ever invented. It has also been said that real estate is a business of appointments and disappointments. There is certainly truth in both statements. If one turns out to have an affinity for our business, it can be incredibly fascinating and utterly frustrating at the same time. Perhaps that is why we are paid well for our successes and, remember, we only get paid when we succeed.
Very few other careers provide such an opportunity to impact people’s lives, for better or for worse, than the practice of residential real estate. People come to us to solve one of two problems ( or sometimes both). We are asked to find them a home their family can be happy in, and/or we are asked to sell their home (probably their major asset) so that they can get on with their lives. These are awesome responsibilities. We believe that if we concentrate on solving those problems to the best of our ability and keeping our clients’ best interests always at the forefront, the commissions will take care of themselves. We are very committed to the proposition that our agents not be just “commission chasers”.
To that end, we have an extremely comprehensive training program, which provides you with a custom blueprint (Up & Running in 30 Days) for developing a business plan. Several of our most successful agents have accelerated their real estate careers with this valuable tool. Our “New Agent Training Program” is conducted by our Broker, Jim Loss, who has been a licensed Broker in Ohio and Michigan for over 37 years. Success in our business is totally dependent on the commitment of the individual agent. That commitment starts with immersing one’s self in our training program and taking advantage of all of the tools at your disposal when you join our group. There are no secrets to success, but there are secrets to commitment. Those secrets are inside of you. You need to discover them.
